Covent Garden is buzzing most nights of the week — performers outside drawing a crowd, theatre doors swinging open, families and friends spilling out in search of dinner. But finding somewhere with enough space for everyone? That’s the tricky part.
Just beyond the bustle of our main dining room, you’ll find The Garden – Olea Social. The name makes some people smile — they arrive expecting an outdoor courtyard and instead discover something even better: a bright indoor space, filled with real plants, high ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the room with natural light. It’s green, it’s generous, and it was only natural to call it The Garden in Covent Garden.

The food is laid out to be shared. Our party menu (£55pp) begins with a table full of mezze: hummus with green olives, tabbouleh bright with parsley and lemon, smoky babaganoush, crisp falafel, cooling cacik, manchego croquetas with chilli jam, golden calamari, and grilled hellim with courgettes and pesto. The table fills quickly, the hands reach across, and the evening finds its rhythm.

Then come the mains, with something for every taste: a charcoal-kissed Mixed Grill, a Black Angus Sirloin Steak with peppercorn sauce, tender Lamb Chops with fennel salad, a hearty Vegetable Moussaka, delicate Seabream with samphire and pine nuts, or a slow-cooked Lamb Shank on bulgur wheat.

Desserts bring it home: crisp, sticky Baklava with pistachio and honey cream or the comfort of Turkish rice pudding. Guests often tell us they leave full, happy, and surprised by just how much flavour fits onto the table — protein-rich grills balanced with fresh vegetables and sides, generous but never heavy.

The Garden isn’t just about the food, though. It’s the ease of families settling in with high chairs, guests in wheelchairs moving comfortably between tables, and colleagues knowing service will be smooth from start to finish. It’s the rare combination of space, greenery, and warmth, right in the heart of Covent Garden.

Big birthdays. Work dinners. Family feasts that spill into the evening. Whatever the occasion, The Garden in Covent Garden is ready to welcome your people around the table.
